PayPal & Contact InfoI've been gone all day, again. Little gremlin running round in my old truck that no
one can figure out. Hate to be running the roads and have it say to me "enough already" and have it quit some place
on some back road. Oh well, at least we found the antifreeze leak.
Here's the deal. I was very uncomfortable
having PayPal linked to our main accounts so I deleted that PayPal. I've just opened a new bank account specifically for
PayPal. That way if there is some ongoing issue with PayPal it won't affect our household accounts. So in a few days,
if I'm home long enough, I'll be accepting PayPal again.
Also, I need to emphasize to please use keepher352@yahoo.com if you have any questions. I hate the email that came with this website. It takes forever to load, then you think its loaded
and once you start typing and it reloads. Sometimes it wipes out the answer, others I sit hit for a minute at a time to wait
for it to figure out what its going to do. I HATE it so please, please use my Yahoo email.
Now I need to finish
a couple of small things and get myself outside. Take care, stay safe. The weather has certainly been attention getting. And
so has the swine flu. Ya'll be careful.

Its April! How did that happen?I swore that I would keep up with my website better. It hasn't happened worth a
flip. So much going on in so many different directions. Being an adult means that the things I kept up with when I was a few
years younger now takes me longer. That or I've got too many things to tend to in the allotted time each day. I think
the second one sounds better to me.
I think we're wetter than we were the last time I posted. The ponds are
full to over flowing. Water is standing in areas that actually slope down to the big pond. The birds, the Hamburgs in particular,
are furious at me for not letting them in their outdoor pens today. Guys, hate to break it to you but we were under tornado
warnings today and with everything else I'd rather not have to try and clean out wet inside pens.
There was
at least one tornado just NE of us today. I know a couple of folks that live in that area, I hope that all is well with them.
A tremendous amount of destruction up that way and we've got more coming this Sunday evening.
I don't know
if I mentioned this or not but I've gone predominately white with my Silkies. I have the black McAllister pair still,
they'll stay with me. Allie just hatched four more peeps. If they look anything like the little girl I gave a friend of
mine they should be stunning. I've added two white pullets very recently. They are still too young to be laying yet but
they are a beautiful addition to my flock.
I'm having a blast with these Hamburgs. They're actually more
social than I thought they would be. I have one girl that is very vocal when she wants something. She knows the moment I step
outside and starts hollering until I come to see what she wants. Most of the time its to free range for a while.
I'm trying to keep all of their eggs collected. Luckily most of the Dutch and the Hamburgs are molting so there isn't
much collecting to do. I really should collect them and offer them for sale but who has the time?
Its getting late
and I need to finish on some stuff inside before I can decide I'm done for the night. The birds are tucked in, the dogs
are on the porch guarding their kingdom and their human is tired.
Everyone take care. I'll try to be better
about keeping this site up to date. Huh? Didn't I say that once before?
