And I'm not ready. I've got some tweaking to do on the two coops. Another light in the Dutch coop and some more insulating in the Silkie coop. I've got a heater in the Silkie coop these days. I haven't quite figured out if its more for my comfort of the birds. As soon as its above freezing out there this morning I'll go out and see how long I last before my toes are frozen.

The grays are gone. They went to a good home and will be well cared for. That has opened up some sorting space for my whites. I had three new white arrivals two weeks ago. They made the trip without a hitch and have laid since I picked them up at the PO. Pics will be coming at some point.

My laundry tub for cleaning feeders and waterers is now installed in the coop. Water hasn't been run to it yet since it will have to be trenched to keep the pipes from freezing, maybe next Spring.

Well, I've drug my feet long enough. Its time to go face the cold. At least its not windy this morning.
